Mobile Vault Review Breakdown:

The Android version of this app is very robust and supports a wide range of features. It’s very reliable and updated frequently by its’ development team.

The password protection of photos and videos works as advertised on both the Android and iOS version.

The app does have differences in the options to protect messages and contacts including the ability to lock apps. The Android version does this well. The iOS version lacks the ability to do so. I’ve noticed this with most apps of its type – the iOS version is normally unable to perform any of these features. This is due to the heighten security thresholds placed on iOS app development. As a result, encryption of messages and contacts via this app will work well for Android devices and not iOS.

Conclusion: I’d certainly recommend the Android version of this app to clients for business and personal use. However, because of the lack of features in the iOS version I would only recommend its use in a personal environment.

Final Score: 3.5 / 5
