Microsoft No Longer Offering Outlook 2003 Updates Or Windows XP Updates

Microsoft Announced Discontinued Support For Outlook 2003 and Windows XP as of April 2014.

It is common for Microsoft to drop support for older programs, however a growing trend with some software company’s such as Adobe, is to drop support for desktop software and funnel customers into hosted or cloud services. Analysts expect this trend to continue at a rapid rate.

Both Microsoft Outlook 2003 updates and Windows XP updates will no longer be available as of April 2014. Which means no more security patches will be available; no more updates at all.

If you run Outlook 2003 or Windows XP, now is a great time to consider a switch to Office 365, the cloud based version of Microsoft’s suite of products.

Office 365 is PIPEDA compliant.

Office 365 can replace an aging exchange server.
